Okay, this scene is about to blow. Lots to talk about today. Let's jam.

SOUNDTRACK

We've done it. £12,500 came and went. Chris & I have had a brief chat about some ideas, I might buy a banjo, things might get weird. It's gonna be good.

ARTEFACT

Uh yeah, so this campaign has gone wild, and it's made it viable for me to plan for some extra help with fulfilment over the summer. Since we're gonna have that support in place, I figured why not go all-in.

So Artefact, the physical zine, is a thing you can get as part of this campaign!

I'm going to have it printed in the same format as Bucket of Bolts: an A3 beak zine with all of the tables on the foldout. Because it's all on one sheet, we'll need to go with a lighter shade of paper than the deep green of the original version. The plan is to use the same colours & a similar shade of paper as the art prints from the original Deluxe Edition.

£8 will get you a physical Artefact zine, or £16 will get you both zines.

If you don't want to change you pledge (because, for example, you have a Collector's Edition), you'll be able to add either zine to your order in BackerKit after the campaign. You can add funds now, or later in BackerKit.

The eight playbooks won’t fit comfortably on the beak zine, but since most people use the form-fillable / printable playkit sheets anyway it should work great. If, however, you dislike printers, abhor screens or are just partial to anything marked 'limited'—we also have a Collector's Edition that will have each of the eight playbooks printed on their own little insert. You can take it, a pen and a journal out to the deepest darkest wilderness and play to your heart's content! (stay safe tho)

Like Bucket of Bolts, the Artefact Collector's Edition will be £16 and limited to 500 backers.

AND for all the real enthusiasts out there who want both Collector's Editions, there's a very limited tier for you. £32 will get you both Collector's Editions, limited to 100 backers. Please note that I don't limit these tiers to create some kind of artificial scarcity, they're limited to preserve our wellbeing!

Any rewards including an Artefact zine will print & ship a little later in the year, after the Bucket of Bolts stuff has gone out.

SPACESHIP GENERATOR

If all that wasn't exciting enough, I've also got a new stretch goal to announce at £22,000. Yep, it's a big one! 

Basically, Torben came to me with a very rad idea—to illustrate a whole bunch of different spaceship components and build a generator so you can make your own unique spaceship for the game!

We're still at the prototyping stage, but the idea would be for this to be accessible as a web app, so it can have the broadest support for users possible. I'm kinda thinking something akin to the very cool Retrograde Minis tool for Lancer — though please temper your expectations until we've got a better idea of how it's going to work. Torben is going to create the tool himself, then you're funding his time to create all the ship assets. I hope you're as excited about this as I am!
